Out with the old and in with the new.
New books that is. I've decided to go through the school library and get rid of all the old smelly books. You know the ones that the kids haven't checked out in 20 years? I mean, what's the point of keeping them? I'd rather make space for new books.
My parents and grandma stopped by for a short visit.
Sam and I saved Kitkat's butt however she loves samantha to death.
Why? Because he's being forced to read! A whole 30 minutes a day. We're so mean!
I hate it when I can't get to sleep. I really need to find a way to shut my brain down.

We made the trip to see the Point Betsie lighthouse and collect rocks. Collecting rocks is one of our favorite things to do up north (Michigan). Too bad the rocks were so sharp you could hardly walk on them. I swear they just dumped new rocks on the beach. They weren't even smooth like all the years before. Then I was trying to photograph the lighthouse from a different angle (with my real camera) and two older gentlemen wouldn't move. I stood there for 15 minutes waiting and they never moved. So now my good pics have strangers standing in them.
Happiness is relaxing on the beach.
It was a hazy day in Frankfort, Michigan. It's always a lousy day to take photos of this lighthiuse when we visit.
I don't think we'll be stopping for a picnic anytime soon. Right now, as I type this on my phone, it's raining so hard we can't see the road.
